Rifle, Robinson, .50 caliber muzzle loading half-stock, 1840s. On lockplate in capital letters is engraved: ROBINSON, indicating the maker or gunsmith, William Robinson, Philadelphia. Previously owned by James Nosworthy, a meat hunter for the hotels of the Great Northern Railroad.
