White Swan, also known as Mee'-Nah-Tsee (Strikes Enemy) was a U.S. Army scout, serving at the U.S. 7th Infantry under the command of Major Marcus Albert Reno (1834-1889). In his position as the scout, White Swan was present at the Battle of Little Bighorn in 1876 and was severly wounded. He died in 1905, and was buried with military honors in the National Cemetery on the battlefield at the Little Bighorn, Montana.
