Photographer who briefly worked for Ansel Adams in Yosemite. Vroman set up operations, including Pacific Photo Company, mainly in the Los Angeles area. He traveled with missionaries to Bolivia, where he spent three years taking photographs of Quicha Indians and the Andes Mountains. During his later career in Prescott, Arizona, he converted a trailer into a darkroom and drove throughout the Southwest, working as a commercial photographer. During his retirement, he arranged much of his work into albums. Over thirty magazines and newspapers had published his work by the time of his death in 1983.
